Helium Music Manager works with all the major file formats
Helium Music Manager supports browsing, editing and playing of the following file formats:
- MP3 (.MP2 and .MP3)
- MPEG Plus (.MPC and .MP+)
- WMA (.WMA)
- FLAC (.FLAC and .FLA)
- OGG Vorbis (.OGG)
- MPEG-4 (.M4A, .M4P, .MP4 and .M4B)
- Monkey's Audio (.APE)
- WAVE (.WAV and .WAVE)
For the more experienced user, we offer support for different tag types as follows:
- ID3v1 (for MP3 and MPEG Plus files)
- ID3v2 (for MP3 and MPEG Plus files)
- Lyrics3v2 (for MP3 and MPEG Plus files)
- WMA (for WMA files)
- Vorbis Comments (for FLAC and OGG Vorbis files)
- QuickTime (for MPEG-4 files)
- APEv2 (for MP3 and Monkey's Audio files)
- RIFF (for WAVE files)
