Adding Vinyl/Cassette etc.
Introduction
Helium Music Manager is capable of storing entries in it's database
that aren't directly related to a file.
This can be extremely useful for you, if your music collection contains
a mixture of different formats e.g. Digital Audio Files, Audio CD's, Mini
disc's and Vinyl records etc.
Tasks
Preparations
There are no specific preparations that need to be done when adding
custom media to your database.
Simply start the Add Vinyl/Cassette etc. tool by clicking Tools | Database | Add
Vinyl/Cassette etc... from the main
menu.
Entering data
The editing of custom media information works in a similar manner to when you edit Audio CD information that you want to be add to the database.
You can add or remove tracks by using the plus and minus buttons. To edit the value in a cell, select it and then press F2. There are also several helper commands available from the toolbar and the context menu, but these are not described in detail within this tutorial.
