The Track List is where your music tracks will show when browsing the different
views in Helium Music Manager. You need to select tracks in this list
in order to:
Select the tracks you want to perform a certain task
on and start the desired tool.
You select multiple tracks in the track list by first
clicking on one track, holding down the CTRL
key on your keyboard and clicking on additional tracks.
You can also click on the first track you want to select, then hold down
the SHIFT key on your keyboard
and click on the last track and all tracks between will be selected and
all other tracks will be deselected.
You deselect an individual track (that is already
selected) by holding down the CTRL
key on your keyboard and clicking on the track you want to deselect.
You can select all tracks in the track list by pressing
CTRL-A on your keyboard.
You can modify which columns to show in the track
list from the Select Columns dialog.
You can sort the columns in the track list by clicking
the column headers or from the Track
List Sorting dialog.
You can hide the Left
Sidebar and/or the Right Sidebar
in order to maximise the viewable area available for the track list.
You can copy or move tracks to any other application,
your Desktop, a folder in Windows Explorer etc. by using drag'n'drop.
Just select one or more tracks and move (to copy) or SHIFT-move (to move)
files outside of Helium Music Manager. You can also drag'n'drop tracks
inside of Helium Music Manager, to the Active
Playlist or to several items in the Media
Library.
You can move tracks up and down in the track list
by using drag'n'drop or by selecting Edit
| Move Up or Edit | Move Down
You can quickly change the active column template
by right clicking on the column header and select the columns submenu
item. All available column templates will be shown under this menu. Click
a column template to load it.
Switching track list modes
Below the track list there's a tab control which allows you to switch between
detailed mode (default) and thumbnailed mode.
If
you click the Thumbnails tab,
the entries in the tracklist will be shown as album thumbnails in the
thumbnail view.
